Voici quelques bugs que j’ai trouvés dans les versions antérieures à la version 7. Je ne sais pas s’ils ont été corrigés et je m’excuse si ce n’est pas l’endroit approprié pour ce genre de choses.

Hello, ce n'est un bug à proprement parler. J'ai laissé tomber après ce genre de gros affichages (suite à des utilisations d'objets) à cause de ça... Mais j'ai préféré les garder. Merci pour le retour   Pierre

I encountered a bug.
At the beginning of the entrance to the mine, right after the intro dialogue, fingus gets in inventory the improvised flashlight before he even built it.

Je pense (et j'espère car je n'ai pas vu ce bug) l'avoir résolu depuis quelques jours déjà, mais il faut avoir récupéré la version corrigée (il y a deja quelques jours), et refaire à partir du niveau précédent.

I think (and I hope because I haven’t seen this bug) having solved it for a few days already, but you need to have recovered the corrected version (already a few days ago), and redo from the previous level.

Je viens juste de finir le jeu, un des meilleurs point n'click auxquels j'ai pu jouer, juste un petit cran derrière Woodruff, dont le côté Metroidvania m'avait vraiment plu. Un jeu bien plus ambitieux et réussi que son prédécesseur, dont le côté nostalgique avait joué en sa faveur, mais que j'avais trouvé au final sympa, sans plus. La direction artistique, l'immersion et la musique sont au top et on retrouve vraiment ce qui avait fait le charme des 3 premiers (chose que je ne retrouvais que très peu dans le 5) mais remis au gout du jour. En plus le jeu introduit une vraie volonté de relier les épisodes entre eux avec des éléments de lore et fait souvent des références bien cools aux précédents opus. Je pense que Gobliins 6 deviendra avec le temps aussi culte que les 3 premiers. Cela va sans dire que je donnerai sur le prochain Ulule/Kickstarter pour le 7 !

I just bought the game, but there seems to be a problem with saving or loading save games.
 Every time I restart the game, it fails to load from where it left off. It always starts from the beginning. However, save games are saved, as it appears in "UserProfile\SavedGames\Gobliins6", agssave.001, agssave.999, but they don't load. In Winsetup.exe, the custom game save path and the custom game shared data path are correct. Is there a solution for this?

Try to load with F7, and not with the Load button.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. It asks to open a saved game that isn't even in the specified directory.
Got an error message when pressing F7. "Unable to restore the saved game. File not found or could not be openened. Requested filename: C:/Users/Username"/Saved Games/Gobliins6/agssave.020.
The file being referenced has never been in the directory

Did you save it with F5 first? I saw the same behaviour as you were seeing but only using the auto-saves / load.. if you use F5 and F7 it seems to work fine.

I think it’s resolved, let me know if you still have problems.

Hi, Is there going to be a version for MacOS? Or an emulator to play it properly on Mac/ipad?

Try with ScummVM, it doesn't require to be an expert programer :)

Hello, where are save files stored for the game (from Itch.io)? I don't see them in:  "%UserProfile%\Saved Games".

Oh now I see, it really  is in "UserProfile\Saved Games\Gobliins6".

Before I looked to OneDrive\SaveGames\, it was not there.

New version of the game, saves are not affected. You need to redownload the game to have the new files.    PG

I hate to ask, as most of the time I figure it out but legit, where is the "screwdriver" mentioned to open the water bottle on the trip to the mines? Anyone else get that far? Please help!

Hint 1: If you played Goblins 3 think about how you solved a similar problem there (right at the beginning of the game on she airship).

Hint 2: You have the item already on you nearly since the beginning of the game.

Hint 3: A coin for your thoughts. 😉

I've read that there's a language problem on Steam, with the game reverting to French when English version is selected. This problem doesn't occur in the itch.io version as well, does it?

On steam it's that half of the words/spoken sentences are english and half is french. I am sure it's an oversight and will be fixed.

Goblins 5 was fine too.

Steam apparently mixed it ... it will be ok soon I hope. Also saves between versions causes crash of Steam version, so better for itchio save it to custom folder .. or just delete saves 

in itch version no

Je suis ravie de retrouver nos deux joyeux compagnons pour une nouvelle aventure!

Mais pour l'instant, l'énigme qui me bloque est comment lancer le jeu sur mon Macbook 2011 :D 

J'avais réussi pour Gobliiins 5 grâce à Wineskin mais il ne semble plus être de ce monde, j'ai bidouillé toute la soirée d'hier sur Porting Kit mais j'ai un message d'erreur au lancement ("Illegal error" O_O)

Si quelque âme charitable et bricoleuse a une solution (gratuite et accessible à une bébé bidouilleuse), je suis preneuse! (OS 13.10.6 High Sierra) <3

EDIT 14/02/26: J'ai réussi à le lancer avec ScummVM, d'une simplicité enfantine après avoir tout bêtement mis à jour l'appli \○/

You can really easily launch it on MacOS with the free ScummVM app :)

I'm running it on an "ancient" High Sierra but updates are still compatible with it, which is becoming a very rare occurrence...

Now I'm looking for a screwdriver later in the game. This one is definitely more challenging than the rest. Some levels were easy. But really this one's got me!

Is it using AGS 3.6.0+ ? Will allow Unicode support for unofficial translations?

1. I guess no, gamedata is in exe file, except translation and audio files. 

2. If somebody will start, I will gladly help

6th part works fine in SCUMM VM! As all other parts exclude 4th.

Now all that’s missing is the rest of Blount’s adventures from Goblins 3 :D

"Goblins 3" is my favourite! Although, actually... I never played "Gobliiins 1" because the graphics are so simple to be utterly boring, and I never played "Gobliiins 4"... because I really, really dislike 3D and I think that it was a big step backwards compared to good ol' pixel art.

I've been waiting for this game, particularly "niveau psychédélique" sounded very tempting to me as a fan of psychedelic theory and psychedelic rock since an early age...

J'attend une réponse de Itch.io pour sortir le jeu. L'executable est trop lourd, ils doivent rajouter de la place.

How long for steam?

Can you please make the download compatible with the official Itch client? I bought it but it doesn't appear in my library and I'm not allowed to install it via the client. I must use a browser to download the game separately.

Hello, on ne peut pas l'acheter sur Kickstarter. Seulement Itch.io et Steam. Même prix que le 5. Merci à tous pour votre soutien. J'espère que j'aurais des retours, notamment sur le niveau de difficulté, toujours difficile à doser. J'espère qu'il sera dispo dès lundi. Ce n'est pas sûr, je n'ai pas encore le feu vert des plates formes.

The fifth installment was also developed with Adventure Game Studio, and I can personally report that it worked fine on Linux using Wine, but also it runs fine on ScummVM, as it has compatibility with AGS too. So I'm guessing this one would be similar 🤞🤞🤞

No official support, but:

  1. extract Windows.rar contents with unar
  2. cd to the new Windows/ directory
  3. scummvm -p . ags
  4. Enjoy ;)

I’m going to add support for Gobliins 6 to ./play.it, so you would only have to provide the Windows.rar archive on the command line and it will convert that to a native package for either Debian, Gentoo or Arch Linux.


Oops, Windows.rar is for the game build sent to Kickstarter backers. For itch.io buyers it should be gobliins6-windows.zip instead.

All other instructions should be similar.

Gobliins 6 (like all previous episodes but Gobliiins 4) is now supported by ./play.it, to ease its installation and integration on Linux: https://git.vv221.fr/play.it/games-vv221/about/#point-and-click

This support includes the itch.io build as well as the archive provided directly by the game developer.

I can confirm that the Gobliins6 game files from this download can be played on Linux with ScummVM 2.8.0, and also with AGS 3.6.0 built from sources.
